The beginning of a new chapter
I am 33.
In a few days, I’m leaving my country with no return ticket and a visa that lets me stay for five years in my new home, Thailand.
I fell in love with this country on my first visit in 2018 and, since 2022, I’ve been going back and forth every year. My longest stay ran from June 2025 to June this year. In that time, I started learning the language, met my girlfriend, and spent the rest of my time studying my new job.
For now, my savings are all I have, and they’ll last me exactly one year. During that time, I’ll have to make my new job work.
The funny part? This job is trading.
